Hotel Casa La Fe 
"One of the newest hotels is the lovely Casa La Fe (Calle Segunda de Badillo 36-125, 57-5-664-0306; www.casalafe.com). Opened last year by an Englishman, Geoff Chew, and his Cartagenian wife, Carmen Marrugo, it is an affordable and comfortable hotel built around a small courtyard and a rooftop dipping pool. The 11 double rooms start at 150,000 to 220,000 pesos, depending on the season, and include hot breakfast and Wi-Fi access."

Hotel Casa La Fe is a republican era (c. 1930) dwelling which has been sympathetically renovated and modernised. The hotel is situated in the heart of the old walled city. We manage the hotel with six full-time staff and provide a friendly and attentive service whilst respecting the privacy of our guests.
The hotel has eleven en-suite bedrooms on three floors. All are identically furnished and contain a programable air conditioner, ceiling fan, minibar, wireless internet, direct-dial phone and cable-TV. The majority of the bedrooms have queen-size double beds but there are also twin-bedded rooms. Our bathrooms are outfitted with quality porcelain, marble counters and hot water. We serve a full cooked breakfast every day, with a varied menu. There are comfortable seating areas in the lobby, patio and roof terrace on the fourth level. The terrace offers breezes and good views with the opportunity of cooling off in the pool-jacuzzi.
